专利说明:
Field of the invention The invention relates to a display device of the lunar phase as a function of the position of the hemisphere in which the observer is on the ground. Background of the invention [0002] The moon phase indicating devices have existed for a long time and comprise a moon disk on which two yellow circles symbolizing the moon are drawn on a dark background, whereas said half-moon shaped window is substantially semicircular. circular in the dial has a separate base in two concave parts, all of which is well known to those skilled in the art. When rotating this kind of moon disk under the window, the different phases of the moon are displayed. For example, it is known from FR 2 862 143 to provide a watch equipped with such a device. A major disadvantage of such a type of watch is that the display of moon phases is only for a hemisphere. Thus the builders must provide two distinct references, one for the northern hemisphere and the other for the southern hemisphere, which involves two different montages and the storage of two different rooms as well. Summary of the invention The invention particularly aims to overcome the various disadvantages of these known techniques. More specifically, an object of the invention is to provide a moon phase display whose display can be adapted according to the position of the wearer in the northern or southern hemisphere. The invention also aims, at least in a particular embodiment, to provide a moon phase display that is simple and inexpensive to implement. These objectives, as well as others which will appear more clearly later, are achieved according to the invention with the aid of a moon phase display device comprising a dial having an axis A, a disk moon, a mask configured to mask all or part of the moon disk, drive means of the moon disk arranged to move in rotation the moon disk about the axis A. According to the invention, the display device comprises means for adjusting the position of the mask so that the mask can pass from a first position in which the moon disk indicates the moon phases in the hemisphere North, to a second position in which the moon disk indicates the moon phases in the southern hemisphere, the rotational displacement of the moon disk relative to the mask simulating the different phases of the moon. According to other advantageous variants of the invention:The mask is circular in shape of axis A and comprises an eccentric circular opening;the eccentric circular opening is towards the twelve o'clock when the mask is positioned for the northern hemisphere, and is towards the six o'clock when the mask is positioned for the southern hemisphere;the mask can take an intermediate position to indicate the moon phases in the Southern Hemisphere;the mask is integral with a toothed ring of the same diameter as that of the mask;the adjustment means comprise an adjusting ring and at least one adjusting wheel cooperating with the ring gear so as to move the mask from one position to another. The invention also relates to a timepiece comprising a moon phase display device according to the invention. Brief description of the drawings Other features and advantages will become apparent from the description which is given below, for information only and in no way limiting, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:<tb> Fig. 1a <SEP> is a perspective view of a watch equipped with a moon phase display device according to the invention with the mask in the southern hemisphere position;<tb> fig. 1b <SEP> is a perspective view of a watch equipped with a moon phase display device according to the invention with the mask in the northern hemisphere position;<tb> fig. 2 <SEP> is seen from above means for adjusting the position of a mask of a device according to the invention;<tb> fig. 3 <SEP> is a bottom view of the drive means of the moon disk and means for adjusting the position of a mask of a device according to the invention;<tb> fig. 4 <SEP> is a sectional view of a watch equipped with a moon phase display device according to the invention. Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiments A moon phase display device according to the invention will now be described in the following with reference to FIGS. 1a, 1b, 2, 3 and 4.
